Ginger came to my husband and I from our son Duke and daughter-in-law Missy. They raise Boxers in northern Colorado and somehow felt that we needed some excitement in our lives. We had just lost "Vana", a white German Shephard, to old age (15 years). We got Ginger four years ago, and our lives haven't been the same since!

It seemed that Angel had waited a long time for a puppy. As soon as we got Ginger home from Colorado, Angel adopted her as the puppy she'd waited for.  As far as Ginger was concerned, she had aquired another Mom, one that would raise her as a spoiled only child!

Together with our 'other' dogs: an eight year old, rather overweight Dalmation named 'Dotti', and then Cinnamon, a fawn Boxer, they became our family!
